A beautiful, historic room with a dramatic timber ceiling made of three crown-post trusses with the wooden structure exposed. There is also a wonderful chimney stack with carved stone fire surround.

The proportions in this room are very generous with a brass framed double bed. All bedding has a high thread count with fresh plump towels provided in the en-suite bathroom with an additional walk-in shower, to luxuriate in.

Children under 2 yrs are welcomed free of charge but please bring travel cots etc with you as we do not provide these.

Free WiFi is available throughout the house. There is also a comfortable seating area inside this room with a well stocked book case containing a range of interesting books as well as tea-making facilities and a TV (Sky + terrestrial) to catch up on the news. Breakfast is included in the price of this room.

For an extra £105 per night we can provide a bed with futon mattress plus additional breakfast for a child up to the age of 12.
