Woolmarket House was built as a merchant's house during the mid-15th century. It has been renovated recently and adapted to accommodate guests. The house is perfectly located among the architectural gems of this under-appreciated Hanseatic League port town. Our visitors also enjoy three of the great houses of Norfolk. The Sandringham Estate, and Houghton Hall are a fifteen minute drive into west Norfolk, and thirty minutes away is Holkham Hall on the north Norfolk coast. All three are surrounded by unspoiled countryside and within easy reach of the north coast’s beautiful beaches.
